Janelle Botha is a singer song-writer hailing from the coastal town of Swakopmund, Namibia. Her classic look compliments her blues and jazz toned voice, which greatly influences her song choice and original writing style and sound. At the age of 15 she started advancing her vocal talent with classical singing lessons, and from there went on to study contemporary music as well as music production. As a part time entertainer she mainly does gigs at bars or restaurants around Namibia. Amongst her most memorable performances was Spitzkoppe rock festival 2019, and in 2022 she had the privilege of joining Namibian musician Riaan Smit on his South African tour, in 2023 they performed as an opening act for South African singer Karen Zoid.
