My Name is Evane Storbeck and I want to tell you a little Story how Camp Rock started.
I founded the Group Camping in Namibia in 2015 and in 2020 was our 5th Birthday. My Birthday is on 29th February (Leap Year) and 2020 was a Leap Year.
One Night early November 2019 me and my Friend Beulah du Pont, sat around a Campfire and i asked her what can I do for Camping in Namibia and my Birthday, I want to do something special. After a while she said, why don’t you do a Camp & Rock Festival. Invite some People, get some Rock Bands. And that’s how it started.
3 Months later one of the biggest outdoor Camp and Music Festival in Namibia was born, with 1000 Campers that Weekend, what a Birthday!!
Just after Camp Rock, Covid hit and closed the World down.
Unfortunately Beulah was one of the Victims of Covid and passed away during that Time.
Now 3 Years later we decided to do it again, it was after all supposed to be a yearly Event.
So here we are, 7 Weeks away from the second Camp Rock – its Time to rock!
